Yes. we conduct all expeditions fluently in both English and Spanish. The depth of scientific conversation — species identification, ecological relationships, field methodology — is fully available in English. International guests from the UK, US, Europe, and beyond are very welcome, and in fact make up a significant part of our expeditions. We hope to offer our experiences in additional languages soon.

For a comfortable and productive nocturnal expedition, we recommend: long-sleeved shirt and long trousers (light, breathable fabric), closed-toe shoes or light hiking boots, insect repellent (DEET-based or picaridin), a small personal torch or headlamp (we provide spares), a rain jacket (the rainforest can surprise you), a water bottle, and a small notebook if you enjoy recording your own observations. A camera with manual settings is a plus for nocturnal photography — we're happy to advise on settings in the field.

Absolutely. We regularly work with researchers, university groups, and conservation organisations who need a knowledgeable local field collaborator.
